What publishers do you buy your Catholic books from?
There are many to chose from and each publisher has their own particular bent about what they are prepared to publish.
I prefer to stick to publishers who sell Catholic books that are more or less guaranteed to be solid in the Faith.
TAN Books – A generally solid publisher of old Catholic titles. There are lots of books about saints and prayer as well religious education. Since its founding, it has been committed to the preservation and promotion of the spiritual, theological and liturgical traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. TAN Books publishes over 500 titles on Thomistic theology, traditional devotions, Church doctrine, history, lives of the saints, educational resources, and more.
Angelus Press – This is the official publisher for the Society of St. Pius X. Some excellent titles with an emphasis of traditional teachings. Angelus Press aims to promote the immemorial Traditions of the Catholic Faith and the Tridentine Rite of the Mass with an unswerving commitment to orthodoxy and the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.
Loreto Publications – Founded in the May 1999, Loreto publications aim to make available only those works that are completely in line with Catholic dogma and morals and to defend and promote the Catholic religion with no compromises.
